Eric’s daughter-in-law Jill informed the chapel that Eric had passed away on Friday, 1st Feb 2019. He was aged 86.
Eric had attended the Chapel Meeting in May 2018 but fell and broke his hip in July 2018. After a quite lengthy stay in hospital he was admitted to a nursing home struggling with dementia and prostate cancer.
Eric’s funeral was held on Thursday, Feb 21st 2019 at Altrincham Crematorium with refreshments afterwards at the Saracens Head pub, Warburton.
