Paul started as a lino op before moving into the Colour Room following the demise of hot metal.
He was very well liked by his colleagues, eventually becoming FoC and being instrumental in securing favourable redundancy terms for his men.
Paul and his wife Helen moved to the Greek island of Tilos where they at first ran their own gift shop before building and managing the Kosmos Studios holiday lets in the town of Livadia.
