Our very good friend and colleague Gerry Bamford passed away on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025. Gerry’s grandson contacted the FoC with the sad news.
Gerry was 88 and sadly had caught a chest infection that he became unable to fight off. Funeral at Blakely Crematorium – Monday, April 14, at 12pm, followed by a wake at the Willow Tavern in Failsworth.
Gerry attended chapel meetings regularly and will be remembered for many things, but in particular his great love of cycling. A love that he passed on to others including his son Greg.
